Public Education Committee
Purpose
The Public Education Committee (PEC) members are dedicated to preserve, protect and advance the best interests of the Curly-Coated Retriever. The PEC goal is to educate the public about CCRCA and many aspects of owning Curly-Coated Retrievers. This committee collects and shares information about the Curly-Coated Retriever to the general public. Examples of educational material topics are: breed information, club contacts, health program information, AKC events, training advice, etc.
Tasks
- To fulfill the fiduciary obligations required of all Board members and to act in the best interest of the CCRCA while upholding the Constitution and By-Laws and working to fulfill the Club’s objectives.
- To submit to the Board by July 1, a bi-annual report of accomplishments for 1st half.
- To submit to the Board by Feb. 1, names of each committee member, goals for the upcoming year, and a bi-annual report of accomplishments for 2nd half.
- Continually seek out and the sharing of information to the general public about the Curly-Coated Retriever, using CCRCA web site, Commentator, or brochures, etc.
