Health Committee

Purpose

The mission of the committee is to offer information and education about current and future health concerns for the curly-coated retriever. The CCRCA Health Committee facilitates testing at CCRCA health clinics. The Health Committee advances knowledge of curly-coated retriever health through publications in the Curly Commentator, cooperation with various international curly-coated retriever clubs and educational programs at the national specialty. The Health Committee reports to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.

Tasks

  1. To fulfill the fiduciary obligations required of all Board members and to act in the best interest of the CCRCA while upholding the Constitution and By-Laws and working to fulfill the Club’s objectives.

  2. To submit to the Board by July 1, a bi-annual report of accomplishments for 1st half.

  3. To submit to the Board by Feb. 1, names of each committee member, goals for the upcoming year, and a bi-annual report of accomplishments for 2nd half.

  4. To submit any findings to the executive Committee before deadline for board of directors.

  5. To send knowledge of the of curly-coated retriever health through publications in the Curly Commentator, cooperation with various international curly-coated retriever clubs and educational programs at the national specialty.
