MyDogDNA is Finnish laboratory and database which works with all breeds and is supported by the Finnish Curly Club. The value of the information on genetic diversity in our breed increases as more curlies are sampled and submitted from different parts of the world. We hope to be able to do a short presentation regarding this test on Monday of the specialty week as well.

• Individual swabs can be submitted for PRA or GSD alone if a MyDogDNA submission is not desired.
• 
  At this time, if inclusion in the MyDogDNA diversity project is desired, but GSD or PRA is not needed, there is no way to do the diversity testing separate.

***Pre-registry is strongly recommended, but walk-ins are welcome until supplies run out. Filling out the paperwork ahead of time for sample submission will expedite the process. Available forms are available on the CCRCA website specialty section. Currently the EIC, GSD, PRA, and MyDogDNA forms are on website.

Forms will be available at specialty as well if needed.***

• Sample shipping costs will be paid for by CCRCA Health Fund.
• All GSD, PRA and EIC tests will be listed with OFA and appropriate databases. All listing fees will be paid for by CCRCA Health Fund.
• All tests will be cheek swabs.
• Microchips will be available if needed.

Dogs not coming to specialty can have samples submitted, but an OFA verification form by a veterinarian will need to accompany swabs. Samples will need to be received by Milan Hess,no later than the Monday after the specialty, September 22nd.
